Ski Traverses
For intermediate to advanced skiers, consider a unqiue Canadian ski traverses either hut-to-hut or from a tent base camp in the Macbeth Icefields or near Kokanee Glacier Park. Join a remote Valhalla traverse
this spring or a Canadian Rockies classic, the Wapta Icefields traverse.
Ski the European Alps with David in late spring on a week long hut to hut traverse through the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. The popular Haute Route offers fantastic ski ascents and descents on high elevation glaciated terrain with accomdation and meals in cozy mountain huts. For a great deal, book by mid-December!

Ski Mountaineering
For skiers who want to combine the joy and hardship of earning your turns along with the rewards of mountaineering peak ascents, join a ski mountaineering program.
The Berner Oberland in Switzerland is a great next step to the Haute Route. In Italy, explore the Monte Rosa massif which offers an number of challenging ski mountaineering peaks. Enjoy hut to hut ski touring while ascending a peak or two each day.
Mount Logan, the highest peak in Canada and second higest in N.America, is a world class ski tour. This long ski ascent is via Kings Trench which gradually climbs 3500m over 23kms in 20 days. Depending on the conditions we may ski down from the main summit. Advanced ski mountaineers enjoy this remote & commiting program.
